hello i am trying to pick a program to learn to help design homes with a lot of coustme cabinet and shelves and other not so ordinary things.
I also build the project and i need to be able to have something simmilar to a blueprint to build from can this program do this? can it show dimentions? thanks for any input.

No dimension lines in DesignWorkshop Lite. DesignWorkshop is focused on 3D. With the Object Info box etc. etc. you can readily create dimensionally accurate models of your designs, and design in 3D. But not the dimension cal-out graphics, or all those other drawing elements that would just be clutter in the model space.
For drawings with dimension lines, like you'd want for permits and construction, you can readily export drawings from the DW model into your favorite drawing/drafting software - PC Draft, PowerCADD, etc.

| hi thanks for awnsering so quickly. i am on windows. I can only spend around $100 dollars for now. |
