Hi, i am new to architectural drawing with only limited experience in Architectural desktop. My job is basically a CAD Technician for a civil engineering company, but i am doing some 3D drawing in my spare time and have designed what i would say is my dream house, however, i want to put a big glass dome in the roof. Normally i would just create a dome using revolve and an arc, and then subtract that from the object to create the hole i need, however, as it is a roof that needs to be cut, it won't let me do so. So, the big question is, how do i do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
