There is a difference between real stone and artificial stone.
I have just completed a stonejob in Rochester Michigan where I thin-cut real fieldstone and applied it to block. This technique is used for artificial stone.
At the base, where there is no footing, I used concrete nails to support the stone as it set and adhered to the block.
The owner of the building absolutely loves the stonework. I assured him to not worry, because if the stone falls off the wall, he can keep all the pieces.
Visit my new website, Bullnosestone.com ,to view pictures of some completed stonework. The site is new and will expand as time permits.
There is also a link to my other site; Goldrocks Goldens. [/url]
