Howdy all,
Interesting forum you have here, looks fun. I was wondering if I would be considered a student or a lurking design professional. I could use some help with the definitions of both.

Thank you for your replies.

Derek

C'mon, a wee tiny bit a credit, maybe? No replies says much too. Razz

Ha ! Well better to see this late, than never ? Too late to comment, that's for sure. The poet of wood had become the teacher. . .

Here's a little present for the bard -- a different kind of timberwork ?

Be sure to watch the whole series. Start at the top left, and the rest will follow. . .

The 2" chunks of endgrain held with the simpson straps really tied the room together.

I loved the shots of the hack work with the Fein multi master and the broken hammer beating the $8.00 Sears Craftsmen chisel.

Here's my old bosses, spent 4 years there.

Very Happy We got to keep some secrets, or everyone will know how to raise a frame.

I love woodworkers. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to architecture. Very Happy I had no doubt at the time that I was working for some of the smartest and most talented folks on the planet. and today still have no doubt that woodworking is the best path to awareness. Cool

Yeah, I was lucky enough to find myself in a quality "shop" at the age of 25.
It takes a while to realize where you've come from.
