Many people know wax can make hardwood flooring brighter, more abrasion resistant and easy to clean. This is because the surface of the product is plated with UV lacquer. It is not strong wearing resistant.

On the contrary, laminate flooring is smooth, very bright, strong wearing resistant and very easy maintain. Its top layer is AL2O3. It is strong abrasion resistant. It is not necessary to use wax to improve the characteristic. Unlike hardwood flororing, wax can’t penetrait the surface of the product, AL2O3 layer. So wax can’t work well with the product. The waxing of the product will affect its look. Also wax make trouble for clean and can’t improve its brightness. So it is not suitable to wax the product.
