I'm a architectural student in the usa and my question is for any architect in my country.
I wanted to make up some basic simple floorplans using autocad and sell them online to make some money so i can continue my education at a accredited university to get a professional degree and so i was wondering if there were any laws that would keep me from doing this |

State laws vary. Most states allow unlicensed individuals to do single family residential but it's always a good idea to have a disclaimer on your site and your plans.
Never use the word "architect" in any form to describe you or your work.
There are many, many sites that sell plans. You can buy everything from just plans and elevations to "complete" sets. You can even get them on Ebay.
The prospects of making any significant money, if at all, are slim at best. Frankly, you'd be better off trying to scrounge up an occaisional addition or remodel where you live.
Have you checked out the competition? |
