who exactly are the moderators on here?

i really think you guys should consider this... architects are graphically minded people...a more slick design might attract more interest

The yellow is a bit fierce, I'd agree. But still, maybe a step up from the previous quadruped's nose (a play on ends). Architorture entertains us with periodic changes. Experimental design in action.

this wasn't intended to be a discussion about my signature choice which was purposely "obnoxious"...

but since it concerns everyone so much...i guess i will change it...

how about just something new for the forum banner? come on...the DC Design Community.com banner just isn't doing it

Well. . .I guess "obnoxious" beats inoffensively bland (at least, until the joke wears thin?), which is what the DC logo seems to me. Maybe just a change of color? The greenish-gold smacks of a real-estate agency or a law firm, maybe. Decent type-face, though. . .

I am anxiously awaiting the Bucharest express to come through with a fresh DC graphic idea after he's through "thinging" about it ...... Question

And as tortorous as it might be, the yellow on the DC4ME is beginning to grow on me...while wearing rose colored sunglasses....did you find a new one yet?

Yeah, almost. . .How about the "ommunity.com" in white, for a little more "punch? (Personally, I'd like to see "design" and "community.com" spelled in full, so the initials read as a "bonus". . .?) (Do the black-and-yellow stripes say "danger" to anybody?)

Anyway, its a good move. . .thanks!

(Note that, in the existing banner, the yellow color reads differently on the black ground than on white. Making use of this optical effect can provide additional interest. . .)
