It is very important to the Bush administration that _only_they_ be able to use US government funds for propaganda purposes. The fact that it's illegal for them to do it - use taxpayer dollars to mislead taxpayers - being to them, seemingly irrelevant.

Hmm -- that Seymour Hersch speech to the ACLU is certainly telling -- a full year later.

He's energizing the troops, yet cautioning them that there may be little or nothing they can do, against the cult.

I continue to be impressed by the ongoing feeling that we all KNEW this was happening; anyone on the street in America could tell they were being lied to, from the time of the 2000 election, forward. It was like a waking nightmare, and it still is. . .
