I was just thinking the electrical symbols might be better off as a separate toolbar. Hardly ever needed unless you're working on the electrical plan, and then you'd rather see them all at once.
Also, I think there was some previous discussion about different graphical standards for different people and also about symbol reporting for fixture counts - so it would make some sense to migrate this function into the symbol library.
Just thinking out loud. |

Some of the requests for other symbols or meta data could be answered if symbols were used from a user's symbol library as you can with the PowerCADD built-in door tool. That way the symbols could look like whatever the user wanted them to look like, and the symbols can carry meta data with them. The key feature of the WT tool, then, would be the behavior of symbol placement, namely sticking to the walls.
