We're working with a client who ultimately wants about 50,000sf of space but can only afford 7500.
Given the site, we would need to max out the available area with two floors to achieve 50000 sf, and about a third of the site is needed for the first phase.
It will be difficult to displace the occupants when adding expanding into the later phase, a temporary office/trailer would need to be provided.
We're considering a modular system that could be linked together, but worry that it will look like crap. The thought here is that if we could reduce construction down to a long weekend up to a week for the additions we'd not need to displace the workers...
I've seen a system called Triumph SmartSpace, but would like to examine other options. http://triumphsmartspace.com/
Any ideas? Thanks. _________________ Joel McKellar, LEED AP
