Maybe you should change the title to "The art of USING space beautifully".
Unused space is a waste.
It just sounds as if you have the wrong idea about what architecture really is.
Just my humble opinion.

Architecture involves planning, designing, creating, erecting, constructing and executing construction of various types of buildings that are functionally efficient, economically viable and aesthetically pleasing...

Its an incredible field of art where we can bring our imagination into reality...

I ve made an attempt to make a site that will help architecture lovers to explore the real world...
Check it out...

Is that the name of the assignment as presented, or the name of your paper as a response to the typical (Architecture Is...) assignment given during first year? Either way, I would recommend challenging the very statement as it promotes quite a subversive viewpoint to the act of successful architectural process. Good luck.

Your original quote can be seen as negative towards architecture. For example, a dam may be seen as a beautiful structure to most... towering and sturdy, but to others
it can be seen as having such a negative impact on surroundings and the environment. I guess its just personal interpretation.

hmmmm... Architecture is the art of using negative space positively... my two cents.
