Question about green facade details...

Postby Kevin » Tue Nov 09, 2010 12:01 am

Posted on behalf of John McWaters:

For a facade, I was thinking about having windows with vines growing outside of them to block shade and make the wind coming in the windows not so direct. So, I have a couple questions. First, what would be a good type of vine to grow that would block the wind, but not completely, and also provide some shade. The vines need to be able to cling to stainless steel cables well and not require a whole lot of maintenance. Thanks for any help!
